💰 FROM A DREAM➤ Why Your Money Still Isn’t Safe (Even Though You’re Tithing)
🛡️ You’re Tithing… But Are You Covered?
💰 Tithing Dreams: Why Giving the Full 10th is the Key to Overflow, Obedience, and Confidence
If Even the Government Takes First from Your Gross, Why Wouldn’t God? Discover the Financial Truth Hidden in Your Dreams
I had a dream. A revealing one.
It came after a day where my body was off, my energy low, and my spirit unsettled. I re-centered with nutrition, prayer, and rest. And in that stillness, the Most High answered with clarity—not just about my body, but about my money.
💭 What the Dream Revealed
In the dream, people around me were subtly draining my resources. Debit cards misplaced. Funds disappearing. Confusion.
That wasn’t just anxiety—it was a divine alert:
“Your hedge is compromised because your giving is compromised.”
Partial tithing = partial covering.
✨ You Were Never Supposed to Guess Your Way Into Financial Safety
We waste so much time trying to fix financial struggles with hustle, advice, or ideas from people who don’t even live under kingdom law. But your dreams are trying to tell you what the Spirit already knows:
Your tithe is your protection.
“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground...”
— Malachi 3:11, KJV
💼 Let’s Talk About the Government for a Second
Even your government doesn’t trust you to pay later. They take their portion first, directly off the gross. They don’t care about your expenses, bills, or what’s left over.
Where do you think they learned that from?
Because mankind doesn’t originate laws or moral frameworks. No nation, no leader, no pastor—no one creates the laws of right-standing or justice from scratch. Everything righteous originates from the Most High.
So if governments take from your gross, let that be your first clue:
Tithing from your net is not full obedience.
🧾 “Well, I’m on a Fixed Income...”
So is everyone. Rich or poor. Urban or rural.
Entrepreneur or employee. Jungle or city.
Every human being is on a fixed income—because only God is infinite.
Stop using your income type as a reason to sidestep obedience. There’s no exemption clause in the law of the tithe.
📜 Why the Tenth (Not a Percentage)?
The word “tithe” in Hebrew is maaser, meaning “a tenth part.” It’s not a financial estimate. It’s a divine measure.
“And all the tithe of the land... is the Lord’s: it is holy unto the Lord.”
— Leviticus 27:30, KJV
“...the tenth shall be holy unto the Lord.”
— Leviticus 27:32, KJV
🍎 Everyday Example: What Is the “Whole”?
If you only have 9 apples, you don’t yet have a tenth.
You haven’t received the full increase.
But once you receive 10 apples, you now have a whole—and from that whole, you set aside the first one as holy.
This isn’t about leftovers. This is about first acknowledgment, first gratitude, and first obedience.
“Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.”
— Exodus 13:2, KJV
“Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.”
— Proverbs 3:9, KJV
This Is the Law of Firsts
The first part of your increase is not yours.
It’s holy. It’s set apart. It belongs to the Most High.
Just like the firstborn, the first crop, and the first fruit—all of it must be acknowledged before you enjoy the rest.
So, back to our apples:
When you gather your 10 apples, you don’t pick the bruised one to give back.
You don’t wait until the end and decide.
You grab the first, lift it up, and declare:
“This one belongs to You, Most High. The rest is blessed because You received the first.”
That’s what makes it holy.
📍What’s Considered a “Whole” in Real Life?
You must tithe from:
-
Your gross paycheck — before taxes.
-
Full project payments or sales — not what’s left after fees.
-
Unexpected gifts or increase — if you received it, it’s increase.
-
Canceled debts — if a debt is wiped away, that freedom is increase—and tithe-worthy.
🚫 When It's Not a Whole
Let’s also cover when you are not obligated to tithe—yet—because it’s not a full increase:
-
Pending Payments or Partial Deposits
-
Tithe on what’s received, not what’s promised.
-
-
Installment Payments
-
Tithe on each portion as it comes.
-
-
Reimbursements or Pass-Throughs
-
Money you’re holding for someone else (e.g., bill coverage or business reimbursements) is not increase.
-
Therefore, it is not your whole.
-
-
Loans or Credit
-
Borrowed money isn’t increase. But forgiven debt? That’s tithe-worthy.
-
💣 Don’t Let the Adversary Talk You Out of Obedience
This speaks directly to the mental warfare so many face around obedience.
When I was younger, I often heard a sneaky internal voice whisper:
“Okay, so you tithe... but it’s not going to work for you, because you haven’t dealt with your issues.”
Sound familiar?
That thought—those accusations—are not from God.
They’re designed to make you question your offering, your value, your holiness.
And worse—they’re designed to stop your obedience altogether.
🎯 Don’t Let One Imperfect Area Cancel the One Thing You Are Doing Right
“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much...”
— Luke 16:10, KJV
Obey where you can. Start where you are.
The Spirit of Truth will guide you into all truth.
🧠 What Does “Casting Down Imaginations” Mean?
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God...”
— 2 Corinthians 10:5, KJV
In real life? It means this:
When thoughts enter like:
-
“This isn’t going to work.”
-
“You’re too flawed.”
-
“You’re not worthy.”
You speak back. You say:
“That’s not what Yah said about me. I cast that thought down. I don’t receive it.”
That’s casting down vain imaginations. It's spiritual warfare for your sanity and stability.

🔍 Final Word to the Wise (and the Wondering)
If you’ve made it this far and you still feel tempted to brush this off as “legalism,” let me gently ask:
What part of your life isn’t legal?
Every system you operate in—government, business, school, health care, and even your relationships—is governed by a legal structure.
Cross a boundary—financially, physically, emotionally, or spiritually—and a consequence will follow. That’s law. And we accept it.
So why do we resist divine law when it’s the only one that leads to eternal life, peace, and generational blessing?
“Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.”
— Deuteronomy 7:9, KJV
We don’t flinch when the IRS takes first. We don’t call it legalism when our rent is due. We just comply.
Yet when the Most High asks for the first tenth, we call it optional? Unnecessary? Even outdated?
Let’s be real: You already live by legal mandates. The real question is—
Whose laws will you obey?
Because man’s laws carry penalties, but YAH’s laws carry promises—for you, your children, and your children’s children.
Not punishment. Protection.
Not red tape. Recompense.
So now that you know, you can grow.
Test Him. Trust Him. Prove Him.
And if you're wrong, I’ll buy the coffee at your next repentance party. ☕😉 (But spoiler alert—you won’t be.)
Amen.
With Confidence and Conviction,
