🌒 Disdain in the Dream: What Happens When We Ignore the Warnings Yah Sends While We Sleep

The Human Connection™
I once had a dream.
Not a poetic one—not a parable.
A dream drenched in discomfort, shadowed in silence.
I was sitting beside people I knew but couldn’t recognize.
Each one was boiling in resentment, but nobody said a word.
No accusations.
No weapons.
Just the heavy, invisible weight of disdain—the kind that simmers quietly for years before erupting in real life.
🛑 What Is Disdain? And Why Does It Show Up in Dreams First?
In Hebrew thought, disdain is more than dislike.
It’s a heart posture.
It’s contempt wrapped in silence.
It’s the look you give to truth when you’re not ready to hear it.
Disdain is the slow corrosion of conviction.
And like most spiritual issues, it shows up in our dreams long before it shows up in our behavior.
💤 How Dreams Warn Us About What We’re Pretending Not to Feel
Have you ever had a dream where:
-
You walked past someone you know but ignored them?
-
You were in a room where everyone refused to speak to you—or you refused to speak to them?
-
You held something precious but felt disgusted by it?
-
You were in a courtroom, but nobody was on trial?
These are not random images.
They are dream-warnings of internal disdain—the buried judgments, hidden hate, and resistance to truth that Yah is trying to confront.
When left unchecked, these dreams evolve from spiritual hints into real-world consequences.
🔁 Dream Ignored = Reality Repeating
In a recent radio interview, I was asked to reflect on a tragic shooting in Auburn, Alabama.
Multiple lives were lost—senselessly.
And one of the underlying causes?
Disdain.
Not rage.
Not robbery.
Just the quiet, festering contempt of someone who never processed their pain—and let it fester into fury.
We are living in the fruit of dreams we ignored.
And the signs were there.
👁️ Disdain Is a Power You Can’t Afford to Deny
It’s the smirk that grows into hatred.
It’s the shrug that becomes a shutdown.
It’s the quiet withdrawal from responsibility, vulnerability, or spiritual truth.
Disdain doesn’t just damage your relationships—it blocks your prophetic flow.
You’ll stop hearing Yah clearly.
You’ll dismiss the people He sends.
You’ll feel irritated by insight.
And worst of all—you’ll miss the moment He was trying to reach you… because it didn’t come the way you preferred.
🌌 What Has Yah Already Shown You That You’ve Dismissed?
Maybe He sent a dream.
Maybe a warning.
Maybe a whisper you brushed off.
But now, the consequences are real.
And you’re wondering how it all got here.
Start with the last dream you dismissed.
The one you didn’t write down.
The one you labeled “weird.”
The one where everything felt “off,” but you rolled over and went back to sleep.
That dream might’ve been the one trying to save you.

🧠 Disdain Doesn’t Just Happen. It Grows in Silence.
Let this be a wake-up call—not just to the world’s violence, but to the private wars we wage in our thoughts.
Disdain is subtle.
It’s spiritual.
It’s dangerous.
And if we don’t recognize it—in our dreams, in our hearts, and in our behaviors—
we’ll repeat the same cycles and call them fate.
But Yah always sends a warning.
Always.
The question is: Did we listen when He spoke in the night?
Grace and Peace,
